From Richland, WA | Born in Port Angeles, WA
Terran Crow
On the 9th of March, our husband/father/grandfather/pa went peacefully with our Heavenly Father, while his loving wife was holding his hand in comfort. Terry was born in Port Angeles, Washington to Don and Deloris Crow on Veteran’s Day in 1941. Terry moved to the Tri-Cities as a toddler and spent most of his life there. Terry bravely chose to serve his country in the United States Navy after graduating from Kennewick High School. Terry is a Central Washington University graduate and worked at Energy Northwest, retiring as a Nuclear Electrical Craft Supervisor.
In 1966 he met the love of his life Karen, and they had three children who made him very proud. Terry was a devoted and loving husband and father who loved the outdoors, boats, motorcycles, cars, motorhomes, basically anything with an engine. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix…even before YouTube!! Terry is survived by his wife Karen, son Darren, daughters Kristen and Sara (Scott) Thomas, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers Carrol (JoAnn) and Glenn (Monica), sister Connie (Lewis) Trail, 2 sister-in-law’s Peggy (Gaylord) Gillard, Mary (Mike) Astley and brother-in-law Ben (Marianne) Corder and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
A special thank you to all our friends and family, Doctors, Nurses throughout the years that showed such great compassion and care you gave our Mom & Dad during the last few months.
In lieu of flowers (you know our asthma can’t handle them) please donate to your favorite charity or to Central United Protestant Church, 1124 Stevens Dr. Richland, WA. 99354.
Family Celebration of Life Services will be held at a future date.
My dear friend I was sorry we can’t relive some of the tales that we shared. I as so glad that the blind date I set you up with lasted fifty-eight years. The world has lost a really great man that would always lending a helping hand or a good story. God Bless.
When I first met Terry, he was one of our WPPSS (EN) craft supervisors. I always found Terry to be a kind-hearted, fair, and honest man. After becoming a craft supervisor myself, I appreciated his knowledge and leadership example. Terry was honest and forthright in his day-to-day dealings with other craft supervisors and the craft. I counted Terry as a valued friend and a mentor.
To the Crow family, I offer my heartfelt prayers and condolences for the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
I just remembered something funny -I only remember being a bit irritated at Terry one time – when I was about 12 our refrigerator was pretty old and I kept thinking it was time to get a new one but every time something broke on it, Terry would come over and fix it 🤣. I think he kept that fridge running for about 5-10 more years. He could fix anything .
Dad sold our ski boat when Terry joined the Navy, because he was the one that kept the engine running. And Terry knew about so many topics whether it was dealing with construction, electrical, mechanical, naval ships or legal!
And a HUGE thank you to Karen for being his loving wife and excellent nurse and caregiver for all these years!!
You were always such a wonderful brother and uncle to our sons. We have always loved you and will miss you so much, but we will reunite with you again when we get to heaven! I know mom and dad were so happy to see you again, there ❤️
