Martha Jane Burnett, born on May 21, 1945, in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away on March 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to family. Jane, as she was fondly known, dedicated her life to being a homemaker and embraced her role with unwavering commitment. She was a proud mother to her seven children: Robin Cazier, Elise Andrews, Serena Baugh, Brian Burnett, Temple Latimer, Merrily Johnson, and Aaron Burnett. Jane found immense joy in the laughter and presence of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, recently welcoming two new great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Jane had a passion for nurturing young minds. She studied the Montessori method of teaching and enjoyed imparting knowledge to children, showcasing her belief in the importance of education and personal development. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her teaching; she found joy in family gatherings and cherished time spent with loved ones.

Jane preceded Robert Burnett, her husband of 58 years, in death by just one week.

Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens – Featherstone Block III on April 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00pm at the Paradise Road location of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
