Joe Nicks, 59, of Pasco, WA, passed away on March 8, 2025. Born on July 7, 1965, Joe lived a life marked by a deep commitment to his family, a rich sense of humor, and a strong work ethic.

Joe served in the Army, where he was honorably discharged on medical leave. After his military service, he pursued an Associate’s degree in Business, which paved the way for his career in Hazard and Waste Management for retail stores. It was at Columbia Industries where he met his beloved wife, Rene.

Well-loved for his humorous and faithful nature, Joe was deeply religious and cherished music. He was a family-oriented man who enjoyed being outdoors and had a lifelong love for dogs. Joe’s playful spirit was evident in his youth as a self-proclaimed troublemaker and remained a defining characteristic throughout his life.

Joe is survived by his wife, Rene Nicks; daughters, Alexandria Bruce, Rhiannon Nicks, and Katelynn (Travis) Albert; son, Tyler (Sabrina) Nicks; grandson, Carter Nicks; father, Floyd (Linda) Nicks; siblings, Floyd Nicks Jr., Kathy (Donald) Miltier, Nathan (Hazel) Nicks, and Dawn (Mark) Brisendine.; and his beloved dogs Fonda, Orea, and Bella. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Nicks.

Joe will be remembered for his enduring love for his family, his unwavering faith, and his ability to bring laughter and joy to those around him. His legacy of love, humor, and dedication will live on through his family and all who knew him.
