Robert “Bob” Titus
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.” John 14:6
Robert Joseph Titus, 64 years old, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at his residence of 16 years with his twin brother by his side after fighting a courageous battle with illness.
Robert was born on the 7th day of September to Ralph and Irene Titus. He was a gifted athlete, playing competitive football, baseball, basketball, and track recognized with achievement. He had a love of music playing the guitar in his earlier years at church mass and later in life taking lessons for the keyboard.
Robert went on to join the All American 82nd Airborne elite Division, the primary fighting arm of the XVIII Airborne Corps with achievement. He retired with honorable discharge.
One could always count on Robert to contact his siblings via phone to stay in touch. He was always there for those who needed his help. Robert never got married but his children were his beloved animals along with his nieces and nephews. Pictures of them were throughout his home and he would always spoil them with his big heart. Robert’s English Springer “Zeus” walked many miles with him and traveled with him wherever he went. Later Robert added “Maverick” into his life as Zeus got older, another English Springer who always tested him with his playfulness. He was reminded every day of the importance of spirituality with the church across the way displaying “I am the way, the truth, and the life” prominently for all to see. After a long absence from church, Robert started attending St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kennewick, Washington.
Robert is survived by his siblings and their children: Deborah Titus (Christina) of Richland, WA, Ralph Titus and wife Bernadetta (Benjamin) of Bellevue, WA, Donna Titus Brouns and husband Thomas of Pasco, WA, Maryellen Titus of Carefree, AZ, Laura Titus Leavitt and husband Brian (Caleb, Luke, Claire) of Pasco, WA, and his beloved English Springer “Maverick”.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Irene Titus and infant brother Timothy.

We moved next door to Bob & Zeus in July of 2017 and the rest is history.
Bob was kind, caring, funny and there was never a dull moment living next door to our beloved Bob.
Our dogs liked to talk big to eachother through the fence but once they settled, we enjoyed chatting about our day with Bob. He loved our garden and told us his love for the purple and yellow flowers.
Bob got to watch my husband and I grow from a newly engaged couple to welcoming our beautiful daughter Bayli Ann to the world.
Bayli is 4 now and absolutely adored Bob. She loved bringing him rocks from her walks and giving him hugs when she saw him sitting out front.
We will miss you, Bob. Until we meet again.
Love,
