Shane Thompson, 52, passed away on April 13, 2023, in Richland, WA.

Shane Thompson was born on November 4, 1970 in Richland, WA, to Jerry Thompson and Diane Thompson.
Shane graduated from Grandview High School and went on to earn a Medical Assistant degree from Carter Colleges in 2010 He started his career as a CNA and went on to work for Kadlec and Trios Hospitals.

Shane married Tina Thompson on March 25, 2000 in Idaho. The couple had 4 children, Tiffany Newman, Joshua Thompson, Nathan Thompson and Trinnety Thompson, all of Richland.

Shane was best known for helping a child or participating in childrens life.

Shane is survived by Corey Thompson and Troy Thompson – brothers, Tiffany Newman – daughter, Joshua Thompson – son, of Richland, Nathan Thompson – son,Trinnety Thompson – daughter,Diane Damron – mother, of Yakima, Deena Sanders – aunt, of Richland.

Shane is preceded in death by Jerry Thompson – father, Tina Thompson – spouse.

The service for Shane Thompson will be held on Sunday, at 2:00 PM at Seventh Day Adventists.
