Mary Ann Bass, 78, of Pasco, Washington, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2023.
She was born on June 25, 1944, to James and Mary Ann Snow in Linwood, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Chichester High School in 1962, where she was a member of the drill team.
Mary Ann married her high school sweetheart, Edward W. Bass, in 1963. A few years later, they moved to Claymont, Delaware, where they began raising their family. In 1980, the family relocated to the Tri-Cities in Washington.
Mary Ann was a Christian. She loved serving in Sunday school and the youth department as her children got older. She was very social and loved traveling with friends and gathering for holidays. She was an avid reader and passed time knitting and crocheting gifts for family and friends. She also loved sports; her teams were the Philadelphia Phillies and the Seattle Seahawks.
Mary Ann is survived by her two sisters, Frances and Dot; three children, Kathleen Ann Bass-Piper (Jeff), Edward J. Bass (Alyce), and Joshua D. Bass (Andrea); seven grandchildren, Amanda, Justin, Jessica, Josselyn, Tyson, Adelina, and Sophia; one great-grandson, Emmett.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Edward W. Bass, on March 15, 2015.
So sorry for your loss . I will be praying for you guys.
Kathy, Ed and Josh, we are praying for God’s comfort for you and your families. Your mom was a wonderful lady, each time we saw her she took time to ask about us and our family. The conversation would always turn to you and your families she loved you all so very much. God bless and we will continue to pray.

I never met your mom but I can tell how wonderful she must have been just by knowing you. We reflect the best parts by the loving way they raised us. Take comfort in your loving memories as you grieve.
