Celebration Of Life
Richard Linderman
Richard Dana Linderman, age 50, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Richland, Washington. Richard was born on August 25, 1971 in Sunny side, Washington to Donald Linderman and Lynn Twazon.
Richard grew up the youngest of 4 brothers and had a love of sports, especially soccer. He worked different jobs throughout the years and when he got into construction, he found his niche as a concrete mason. He was also an active member of his union. He later went on to start “Incarceration to Inspiration” where he found his true calling in serving his community and giving himself so selflessly. Lutheran Community Services awarded him a “Hope Holder” award which he was very proud and honored to have earned.
Richard is survived by his spouse Tina Warner, his children Cheyanne Peters (Amanda), Cassandra Linderman (Brett), Richard Linderman (Brooke), Ashley Ferron (Andrew), and Breanna Greenough, his grandchildren Bryson Hughes, Bryson Peters, Alaura Langston, Easton Barnes, Alexi, Alissa, Andrea, Aliyah, Andrew, Anthoney, and Ashthon Ferron, his brothers Robert Sample (Suzette), Perry Sample(Cammy) and Steve Linderman (Jackie), as well as his Nieces and nephews Aaron Matzke, Tommy Sample (Jessica), Tony Sample (Alyx), Alecia Sample, Robert Sample (Arie), Dana Sample, Brandon Peters, Bryce Peters, Preston Linderman, Quinn Linderman (Rebecca), and Dominic Linderman.
Richard adored all his grandchildren and made them and family Sunday Dinners a priority. Although we will miss him dearly, we will carry on his legacy and “Take time to Smile” as he would want us to.
Richard enjoyed giving back and helping people. We are passionate about an organization called Mo’s Place. They do many things but one of them is helping foster kids with their basic needs, like shoes. In lieu of flowers, we are asking our family and friends that can, to please bring a pair of new shoes to Richard’s service that we can donate to Mo’s Place in Richard’s honor and touch the lives of foster children in our area.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 4:00 PM at The Living Room Community Church, 1409 S. Garfield St., Kennewick WA 99337.

It’s been a blessing to have Rich in our lives. And to watch him turn his life around, achieve so much and shine his light like no other. The time was short. We wish there was more. As his 6 year old step-grandson Kaden says, “I wish I could see him just one more time”. We will miss him and cherish all he left. How he built us up with love, helped those in need, and made it all happen. Love you Rich.

Love what you have started.
I can’t believe your gone from this earth. You have had such a huge impact on everyone who knew you. We all lost a little piece of ourselves that day you left us. I know your mom and dad are loving having you with them though. Thank you for inspiring us all and creating so many smiles!!

Even though I never got to meet you face to face you touched my heart in many ways. I can never repay the hope you gave me to go on another day. You will always be remembered until I can meet you save a spot up there for me with the big guy. If you so happen to run into my husband and brother please give them a kiss for me then punch them in the arm.
Richard had a way of making everyone he met feel like family. I feel blessed to have gotten the chance to know him if only for a short time. He brought sunshine, laughter, love and hope back into my days with his ongoing service to the community. Watching him live a new way from Incarceration to Inspiration has given me much hope for our future ever growing family. That one person does make a difference. We can all be the change we want to see in the world, Richard is proof of that.
I ask that our father in heaven give comfort to the family in this time of loss. And forever strength to carry on with smiles as he would have wanted

I know you are in a better place, but I loved you in this place. You accomplished everything we worked on when you got out of the gate. Im eternally proud of you. And of course I love you. I miss you so much.
It shows how 1 person can impact the whole world through GOD. Lord bless and comfort family and all who have been touched.
Words can never convey the impact you made in this community. From mist wanted to a literal walking angel, you helped countless people. From encouraging words to numerous acts of kindness and compassion the world is definitely a dimmer place without your light. You left behind a legacy that will carry on for generations. Continue to watch over your family and your friends who are still struggling and doing their best to get through the days and nights in your absence.
Trying our best to take time to smile… rest in paradise.

I’ll miss you dearly baby brother. We missed many years here on earth, but we’ll have many eternal when we unite again in heaven. You kept your promise to dad that you’d do it right and make him proud. And while doing so, you made a lot of friends and family just as proud. You gave of yourself like no other. You brought family together not just by blood but by the heart. Ones you don’t just call friends. You call them family. You left behind a legacy. An inspiration to many. That no matter what’s going on in your life, no matter how sad you are, how mad you are or how lost you might be. Do one simple thing, “Take time to Smile”.
