Stephen Kelley

Stephen Roy Kelley of Kennewick passed-away on February 25, 2018 in Richland at the age of 81.

He is survived by Lynda, his wife of 62 years and by his children, Kevin and Jodee.  He was Grandfather to Erin, Patrick, Avery, and Nicholas and great-grandfather to Lillianna. Stephen was also survived by long-time friend of the family Bob DeFever.

Stephen was born in Long Beach, California on January 19, 1937 and lived in that state until moving to Kennewick in 1968.  He held various positions at Hanford and retired as a manager within the Safeguards and Security organization; a position he had held for several years.  Stephen served four years in the USMC and was stationed at various locations in California. After discharge from the military he received a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Sacramento State College.

Stephen’s Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 11 AM on March 10 at The Living Room Church, 1409 S. Garfield in Kennewick. His family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Fieldstone Grandridge for their love and caregiving over the past year.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations to be sent to the Children’s Hospital in Seattle.
