Bryan Monroe Spicer

July 18, 1923 – February 9, 2017

Bryan Spicer passed away in the Lord having lived and shared a long, blessed and wonderful life.  Bryan was born July 18, 1923 to Lanklin and Stella Mae Spicer in Minneapolis, Minnesota along with his five siblings; Cecil, Thelma, Faith, Bob and Elaine.  Bryan was awestruck with a beautiful, spunky family friend who became his wife, forever soul mate and the mother of his eight children.  Bryan lived through the Great Depression, served his country in the South Pacific during WWII, and made a life for his family in the Tri Cities, Washington retiring from Batelle at the Hanford Project.  He loved traveling in his motor home, gardening and wood working until he was 90.  Most of all Bryan loved his family; children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his nieces and nephews and their families and friends.  Bryan will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, caring, gentle man who walked the walk of a great man of faith.  Bryan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Murriel, his son, Tom, his parents, siblings, and numerous other family and friends.  He is survived by his sons; Bryan (Susan), Greg (Jocelyn), Ron (Lynne), Tim (Michelle), Brad, and by his twin daughters; Sheryl and Sharyn (Will), and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. 

Bryan’s life will be celebrated February 15 at the Richland Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1807 McMurray Avenue, at 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a reception. Graveside services will take place at Cemetery at Sunset, 915 Bypass Highway, at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice, the Alzheimer’s Associations or to your favorite charity.
