Jeanne Heiman
October 9, 1945 to January 9, 2016
The Lord took his daughter Jeanne
Heiman home to Heaven on Saturday morning.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep just like she had asked for with
her Bible by her side. She had been
struggling with several medical conditions for the past 10 years and had
recently been ill. She was born in a small Texas town (Silsbee) to Ed and
Evelyn Sevars and grew up as a true southerner with strong Christian
values. Jeanne was a feisty little Texan
who loved the Lord and dedicated her life to her Church, family, and
friends. She loved natural things like
the smell of fresh mountain air, the sound of a small stream, bald eagles, and
the whisper of wind through the trees. She was proud to be an American and was
always going out of her way to help others.
She served as a military wife with her husband Bud for over 22 years and
led numerous activities to help young soldiers and their families.
S Jeanne managed the kitchen at Life Church in Richland for over 15 years and organized countless functions for weddings, funerals, and Church events. For her the event had to be just right because she wanted everything to be perfect for the guests. She was a natural southern cook, and unbelievable artist who had recently turned to quilting. She was a member and volunteer of the White Bluffs Fiber Arts Museum and had recently made quilts for all her family members and close friends. She will be greatly missed but she has no more pain or sickness. She is survived by her dad, husband, 2 children Heather and Eddie, and 3 grandchildren Darby, Tawny, and Austin and 2 sisters. A memorial service will be held at Life Church 7, 1110 Stevens Drive in Richland on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in Texas beside her mother and baby sister.
My condolences to the Heiman family on the loss of Jeanne Heiman.
Dear Jeanne – your pain is gone. I look back at our friendship over the years and I cherish each meeting. You would never share your ‘ills’ until I would ask. You were always cheerful through the pain. You would always ask about how I was doing as if my pain was more important than yours.
I enjoyed our lunches and times we got together with the guys. You and Bud were a joy to be around. Your sense of humor and telling of stories of the past were quite fun.
Your family will miss you greatly as will all of your friends.
With love,
Bob & Phyllis Maynard
Our hearts go out to all the family. May GOD GIVE YOU PEACE at this time. Jeanne will be greatly missed.

Heather and family, no words can ease your pain during this sad and difficult time but trust in the lord and he will help you get through. Just know your sweet Momma is in peace and will always remain with you through her spirit. You will do things and see things everyday that will remind you of her. That gave me peace. Hugs Ellida
Our prayers and hearts are with you and your loved ones.
She will be missed by all.
Peace to you.
You were a very beautiful woman with a wise spirit and a quiet strength that was obvious. I remember you and Heather nursing several animals back to life and how we would laugh about you bringing everyone who needed a mother home with you. Those qualities are priceless. Your family was blessed to have you and may you rest in peace.
Jeanne was a dear, sweet Texas lady. I always considered her “kin” since she was a fellow Texan from the same home town. While we grieve her passing with you, we rejoice with you that Jeanne’s name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Bud & Family – Our prayers are with you during this sad time. Please know we are here if you need anything! You and Jeanne are very special to us! Jeanne was a very special woman and a true Southern Lady who was proud of her heritage and showered those around her with love. One of my first impressions of Jeanne was how very wise she was – whether we were discussing the Bible during our many small group Bible studies or talking about life, kids, jewelry making, quilting, etc. She had so much to offer ….
She will be greatly missed!!!
What a beautiful picture. I did not know Jeanne but from looking at her picture I know that the Lord would have made us instant friends.
How wonderful to know and trust that she is where she has longed to be, at the right hand of her Heavenly Father.
I am so sorry for your loss and pray that you will find comfort in those that care and love you.
Jeanne gave us such a wonderful gift and that was a beautiful border collie named Holly. We will always hold Jeanne close to our heart.
Heather and family I am so sorry for everyone’s loss. There is no better love than that of a Mom and Grandma. Ya’ll are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry.
