Eleanor Marie Barton

Eleanor Marie Barton, 93, passed away peacefully April 23, 2015 at her home in Kennewick, WA.

Eleanor was born in Oak Park, Illinois on February 5, 1922 to Charles and Emily Banks who now welcomes their only child in heaven.  She is preceded in death by her husband Jim of 47 years.  Eleanor and Jim met at a USO dance while he was based at Great Lakes Naval Station.  They married in 1945.

Eleanor is survived by her children Lindsey (Rich) Seaver, Bill (Elaine) Barton, Karen (Brian) Thompson and Jeff (AliceFaye) Barton.  She was a loving grandmother to Rick, Stephanie, Tyler, Casey, Lance, Logan, Travis and Kelly.

Eleanor loved life to the fullest.  She was the most elegant, lively, beautiful woman who was always ready for a party.  She enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, reading and had a lifelong love affair with playing bridge.   

All are welcome to join Eleanor and her family in the celebration of her life at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2505 W. 27^th Ave. Kennewick, WA on Saturday May 9^th at 1:00pm.
