Sharon May Horn

In memory of Sharon May Horn, born Dec 2nd 1941 and passed away October 7 2014 in Vancouver Washington. Sharon was born in Spokane Wa and grew up in Palouse Wa where she attended Palouse high school. Following high school she attended and graduated from Spokane Valley Junior college as a dental assistant. Sharon married William J Horn on July 20 1963. Throughout life Sharon showed deep compassion and tenderness for all- loved family, friends, gardening, holidays and music.

Sharon is survived by husband William, her four children William II, Chris, Sandy Starks, Nickolas Dagenhart, and grandchildren Christina and Brian Starks. Sharon is also survived by her sister, Wendy Marron.

Sharon was preceded in death by parents Melvin and Hazel McKellips and also by her brother Neal McKellips.

There will be a funeral service and internment at Einans Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland Wa on Saturday October 11 at 9:30 AM as well as a Celebration of Life Service in Vancouver WA at a later date. Sharon wished donations be made to Shared Hope International in lieu of flowers or other offerings.

The only word that could possibly sum up Sharon's life would be LOVE.

  • I am truly sorry for your loss, but Sharon is in a better place now. She is at peace now with her parents. I have had the honor and privilege to have known Sharon and her family for over 30 wonderful years. Sharon always had a smile for everyone at all times. She will be greatly missed. May the Lord be with your family in the days and future to come. May God Bless.
