Adan Espinoza, 75, of Pasco, WA, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, May 19th, 2014 at the Hospice House. He was born on December 19, 1938, in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Reymundo and Vidala Espinoza. Adan moved to Washington in 1958 and joined the Laborers Union. He served 55 years in the union working on many projects across the northwest including John Day, Little Goose, Lower Monumental, and Dworshack Dam. Adan retired from the Laborers Union in 1996, but still attended union meetings and events. Adan had many passions – gardening, dancing, taking family and friends out to eat, watching WWE with his sons and grandsons, and watching his grandchildren play sports. In the last year, he enjoyed the time he was able to bond and spend with his family.
Adan is preceded in death by his father, Reymundo, mother, Vidala, brother Melquiades Espinoza, and sister Maria Isabel Espinoza. He is survived by his siblings Janie Del Toro, Sophia Espinoza, Santana Espinoza, and Maria De Jesus and their loving families. He is also survived by his loving family members, Rey Heather, Kayne Maryann, Joe Julie, Linda and his grandchildren Mikaela, Kayne, Tristan, Victoria, Easton, Ava Marie, and Jacob, as well as many dear friends, including his special friend Dora Plata.
Adan's generous spirit, love and loyalty will be greatly missed. A mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1320 W. Henry St, Pasco, WA beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2014. Immediately following, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Laborers Local #348 Hall, 2505 Duportail St., Richland, WA, from 1:00-3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Hospice House, 2108 W.
