Nancy, with the passing of your Mom, so does the family ties to Dallas, TX. 73+ years ago. When your and my folks moved to Richland togeather. It was the ties starting before WW ll that lives on in our memories. Your Mom is reunited with her loved ones. She will be missed in body but her memories will be with you until you are with her. God Bless and keep you until that day.

Ruth was a very positive person and a joy to visit with. She had a very active and productive life and will be missed by many people. God’s Blessings.
Ruthie has been my neighbor since I was a kid and moved to the neighborhood in 1966. She was a kind person and will be missed by friends, family and neighbors like my wife & myself.
Dear Nancy–my first thought on reading of your Mom’s passing, was the many fun-filled times at Shufflers sq.dances & camping trips, including you & one brother. Next to mind is her deep involvement with Eastern Star. she seemed so happy in her days at Stanfields & Dick’s flower shops. but, seeing her “shine” at the VFW Post hall, when Dyke would get everyone’s attention & recognized this outstanding and so very proud GOLD STAR MOTHER !! Love BoBush
Ruth was a P.E.O. sister of mine. She was such a gentle person to be around. We all enjoyed visits to her home. She loved to entertain and you felt so welcome there. I wish that I had known her longer. But she lived a full and rewarding life and added so much to our chapter. She truly was a P.E.O. which is a loving, and caring person who wanted to make the world a better place. My caring thoughts to all of the family. Pat Jonson
I knew of Clayton and Ruth all my life. They were friends of my parents, Jim and Ruth McLaughlin. I graduated from high school with Bob. They helped me when my brother died, and when I lost my folks. I loved Clayton’s homemade beer. Ruth was so funny. I’m glad they were in my life. You were lucky to have them so long.
