Charles Raymond Anderson Jr.
Charles Raymond Anderson Jr. passed away August, 2, 2013, at his home. He was born on February 3, 1928 in Los Angeles, CA to Charles and Bernice Emmingham.
Charles grew up in Bakersfield, CA and enlisted in the United States Navy sailing the Orient. After his military service he moved to Richland where he was a used car salesman, Carnation Milk man while attending night classes at CBC to get his College degree. Then he began working for Westinghouse as a Lab Technician until he retired.
Charles had many joys in life. He became a licensed pilot and also obtained glider's permit. He proudly jumped out of an airplane at age 70 to parachute for charity. He worked for the food bank for many years, bicycled all over the northwest and he enjoyed cooking for men's retreats for the Knights of Columbus.
His proudest moment in life was the birth of his children. He loved all of them greatly. He was also a proud member of the Richland Knights of Columbus.
Charles is survived by his sons, Gary Laura, Gayle Lois; his daughter, Diane; Grandchildren, Mark, Kim, Chris, Harmony, Carly, Nikki, Corey and Julia; great grandchildren, Doug, A.J., Ashley, Aurie, Tobius, Michael, Connor, Melodie and Aizlyn.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Loretta.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens 915 Bypass Highway, Richland, WA 99352.

Eternal rest grant unto Andy, O Lord,let perpetual light shine upon him. I worked with Andy at 222-S Lab and use to see him in church on Sundays. Your father was a sweet man I always enjoyed talking with him. I have your family in my prayers.
