  • Dear Carol and family,

So many things I want to say. You all have been such a big part of my life since I was a young girl. There are so many wonderful memories of good times, bad times and everything in between. I guess the only thing really to say is that I love you, my deepest condolences to all of you, and to Mac, thank you for all the laughs, all the life’s lessons and for being a wonderful grandpa to Michelle and great grandpa to Ethan. We will all miss you very much.

    All my love,

    Cecily

  • Coach McClanahan will be greatly missed. As a young boy I rode my bike to my first practice and was greeted by Coach McClanahan. The thing I remember most about the coach is his patience with me. I was not a great player but he worked with me. He was a great influence in my life during my very formative years. I will never forget him and the care he showed me and the rest of our team. He was there at every practice and every game. He sacrificed his time and volunteered countless hours for the development of young men. He certainly was a great influence on my young life. As the years have passed I have often thought of him and fondly remembered the years of playing for him. Coach has now moved on to a new field to take his coaching skills on to a new team. I am sure he was warmly welcomed there. I know that his family will find comfort and peace in knowing that Coach has come in safe at home base!
