Daphne,
I’m certain that nothing can fill the void of not having your mother physically present, except for the grace, peace, and everlasting love of an attentive Heavenly Father and the knowledge that your mom is present with Him. May you draw from God’s peace; which our human minds can’t comprehend. In addition, hold tightly to the precious gift of song given to you by God through your precious Mother.

Hello Dee D and brothers.
It really sadden me to hear of Velma home going. They told me when Calvin passed that she was really sick, but I had no idea. Trust in God and know that He makes no mistakes. He will be with you and get you thru this. Was suprised when I open the message and there she was. We grew up close and work in the churchSt. John together. If I can do anything I am here for you all. Will get your mailing address from Vinvent. Take care, Love, marilyn.

VJ was such a warm and caring Nurse and I learned so much from her in the early years of my own Nursing career. I will miss her very much. I wish i could wrap my arms around each of her family memebers and tell them personally how special she was to me and my children. I know she will truly rest in peace.

VJ was a remarkable woman. I worked with her at Walnut Grove Nursing Home and i loved working with her, she was fun to be with and made the best sweet potato pie! Even tho i hadnt seen her in quite a few years, i will miss her just knowing she isnt her with us anymore. Watch over us all VJ. xoxoxox
