Larry Bruce Haak

On June 24, 2010 Larry Haak traded in his home in Richland, WA for a mansion in heaven. He had a boisterous spirit, a presence which could not go unnoticed and was felt by all who had even the shortest interaction with him. Larry cherished his relationships with friends, family, and most importantly God. He loved sharing his ideas and beliefs, being involved in community outreach programs, spending time with his family, good food, golfing, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spurring up conversations with complete strangers whenever possible.

Larry was born in Illinois, served time in the military, and moved to Washington where he worked in the construction industry until bringing his young family to Sunnyside to develop 200 acres of farmland, where he grew cherries and apples for over 25 years.

Keeping his memories alive are his wife of 37 years, Melinda, daughters Serena Todd and Esther, son Dylan April and two grandchildren. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held on June 29 at 11am at Bethel Church in Richland, WA
