Emmanuel Popp
Emmanuel Popp passed away on April 20, 2010. He was born on April 26, 1917 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
He came to Richland in 1947 and worked for 34 years as a patrolman at Hanford. He served in the army from 1942-1945 and was a lifetime member of the VFW, Post 7952.
After his retirement, he and his wife Arlene enjoyed traveling and visited Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and the Virgin Islands. Their favorite trip was to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.
Emmanuel is survived by his wife Arlene, son Ronald Miyoko, daughter Sharon Wise Stacy, son Gary, daughter-in-law Bobbie, granddaughter Holly Kenney Holcomb, grandson Tyce Sara and great-grandchildren Kelsie and Jadon.
He was preceded in death by his son Larry, father Adam, mother Katherine, and seven brothers and sisters.
Private graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland.
