Susan,
Tim and I are in shock about the news. We are so deeply sadden and our hearts ache with pain. Yet, we have been so blessed to have known Steve. All those baseball games and hot dogs. I will always remember his smile and care free spirit. We are here for you and want you to stay in touch. Our #627-5505.
I pray God will comfort you and the kids and give you strenght to make it through each day.
your friends Tim, Cindy, Dustin and April Utecht
For the little time that I new him, Steve was a grate guy. Were going to miss him alot at work. He was an awesome addition to the company.
I have so many, many fun memories growing up next door to Steve. Lots of “kick the can” games in the neighborhood, hanging out in his basement or on the “green box” between our houses. The “green box” now has a Keep Off: High Voltage sign on it! His laugh was the best. Quick to smile and make a joke. It breaks my heart to think that he’s gone. My deepest sympathy, and prayers are with you.
I have so many fond memories of Steve and the whole Geddes family. Steve was the best neighbor a kid could have. He was always smiling and happy. We enjoyed many nights of kick-the-can and other games. I cherish memories of being in that house/beauty shop and feeling so welcome and happy. Steve was just so fun…I am thinking of you.
To Susan and family—
We were all greatly saddened to hear of Steve’s passing. In the time we were lucky to enough to know him, he was a great blessing, particularly to my grandson, Gage. He made all of us feel welcome, and he and his sons helped fill an empty spot in Gage’s life when his dad moved away, by teasing and including him in “guy stuff”. We will never forget Susan and Steve’s kindness and hospitality. May God bless and comfort you.
Ruth, Lisa, Jennifer and Gage
I met Steve through his wife,Susan, who worked with me @ Sunmart! Steve ,Susan & family are beautiful people & I love them all dearly! I got to see Steve alot when I worked there. He was funny! The last time I seen him was at Yokes,& 2 days before that,@Lee’s Market. I laughed & so did he when I told him”We’re going to have to quit meeting like this, before people talk”! I told him to tell Sussan “Hi” !
I am keeping you all in my prayers! I love you all! Someday,we will see him again,in heaven!
I met Steve when Susan and I was working at store 17. He would bring something to her and his eyes would light up when she came in eye’s view of him. That was love.. You could tell by that sparkle in his eyes and that smile. We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers. Love to you and the kids..
Steve and I used to go fishing all the time, and enjoyed riding bikes, playing in his basement, and playing baseball. I lost contact after he moved away – my thoughts go out to the entire family, suffering this terrible loss.

Words cannot express our feelings of sympathy for you all at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Look to Jesus for strength. Isaiah 40:31
I’m so very sorry for your sadness.
I will always remember Steve from his childhood in Forest City. My parents would bring Sheri my sister and I over to his parent’s home and we would play games in and around the house. It was always a fun time getting together and spending time in the beauty salon. Steve was a great person and I only have good memories of the times we shared. Our condolences to his family.
May the love of God grant you peace, the love of friends bring you comfort, and the love of your dear one live forever in your hearts.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
To you, Karen, and to Steve’s family: I was so very sorry to hear of loss of your son, husband, and father.
Karen, your Steve and my Steve were always good topics of “Mom conversations” during their teenage years in Forest City. As I recall there were very few dull moments when they got together!
Please know I will keep you all in my prayers for God’s strength, consolation and healing and will have a Mass offered at St. James for the repose of Steve’s soul.
And so we pray: Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann Rogeness Andersen
I would like to extend my sympathies to your family. I went to school with Steve at Forest City Middle/High School and always enjoyed his humor. We have always attempted to find Steve for class reunions and usually did not have any luck. Please know that my prayers are with you during this difficult time and Steve will be missed by all that knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Steve was a great friend and I have many great memories from when we were kids-playing ping pong in the basement, fishing, water skiing at Crystal Lake-Steve was fun to be around and I know he will be missed. I am sorry for your loss and will pray for you.
Karen and family- My mom, GoldieGeddes Borg and I wanted to express our deep sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
