EINANS FUNERAL HOME Diane Bosted
A loving daughter, sister, friend, wife mother and grandmother left this world to be our Father in Heaven on May 16, 2006
Diane Clinkscales Bosted was born in June 1944 to Burton and Erma Clinkscales and grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. The oldest of four children, Diane strived to help others and often took the role of care giver to her family and friends. Always bringing joy to those who were lucky enough to cross paths with her, there was time for a smile for anyone who needed it, and usually a conversation or a taste of her famous Bosted Cookies.
Married in 1968 to Christian Bosted, they started their family which included eight children. Always active in her childrens lives, she volunteered at the elementary schools and later on went to work at Hanford High School in the Cafeteria, where she was constantly visited by her children and their friends, and even her grand children.
Diane was extremely active in her many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and serving others. Her testimony of our Savior was astoundingly strong and her desire and willingness to choose right over wrong is an example that will live on.
Preceded in death by her father, Burton Clinkscales; nephew, Cory Ramsayer; and niece, Shelly Ramsayer. Diane is survived by her Mother, Erma Clinkscales, husband, Christian Bosted, children, Cris, Derek, Dan Naomi, Cari Steve Tarbert, Doug Mishelle, Daren, Connie and Kaydee, granddaughters, Sariah, Sabrina and Sophia Bosted and Cayli and Gracelyn Tarbert, as well as her brothers, Steven Janet Clinkscales and Sidney Trudy Clinkscales, her sister Jamie Ramsayer and nieces and nephews.
The world has never known such a loving woman as she, and her legacy will live on with her children, grandchildren and in the lives of all who she met.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 2006 at 2:00 pm the Jadwin LDS Chapel. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be at Einans Funeral Home on Sunday May 21, 2006 from 12:00 4:00 pm and again from 1:00 2:00 pm at the church.

You are my favorite person ever. I have always appreciated your example and will continue to look to you for guidance and support while raising my babies. I love you so much! Enjoy your straight fingers and toes!

Mum, I love you so much. You’ve always been a fantastic example for all of us. You’re amazing and you will always live in my heart.
Dear Chris and family,
We were saddened to hear of Diane’s passing. We have lots of fond memories of about 36 years ago when we lived across from you. Some people come and go, but you two were always special and we enjoyed associating with you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Diane was a special lady and there is no doubt in our minds where she is now. Love ya. Jim and Paula Eborn
I enjoyed working with Diane in RS when I moved back here from the Seattle area. She considered herself an “old timer” but I don’t think she fully realized what an “old timer” in Richland really was.
Her caring, sensitivity, talents, and kindness will forever be remembered. In short her ability to accept people for who they are. I will miss laughing with her and her smile. My heart goes out to your family at this time. And yes Carrie am sure she is enjoying her straight fingers and toes among other things.
When we were little girls Diane was one we loved to see. She was a little older and we would look up to her. Diane had cool grown up stuff, and we would bug her always. You will be missed

I have been thinking about Diane so much lately and just read my email from the Tri-cities to find she had passed on just a few days ago. I am going to visit the Tri-cities next week and had planned to stop to see Diane. I wanted to tell her I loved her and how much she has influenced my life for good. I trust she already knew she was loved by all. She was always willing to serve and love no matter the hardship it was on her. So I will tell you, her family, she was very dear to me. She was a great example to us all. Her constant devotion to her family and the gospel was always evident. My sympathies are with you at this time. Please know you’re Mom touched countless lives. You probably remember me as Gloria Brown, Megan’s Mom

i love you grandma and be patient.. and you are my best friend…
Love you mom.
I don’t know what to say, but I wanted to say something. Your mom was, and is, an amazing lady. It’s was three years ago that I last talked to her, she always shared a smile and kind words… I am grateful for her influence that helped me to change my life – many years ago. My thoughts and my prayers go out to all of you.
Diane has always been one of my favorite cousins. When I was about four years old Diane about 10 years old went to St. Ignatius, Montana with us and I remember her and I playing in Flathead Lake. I always looked up to her and felt so grown up when she and Linda included Karyn and me at family get togethers. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
Chris and family – Larry and I are saddened to hear of your loss. Chris – I remember Diane when I was working with you and she would come up to the office on occasion – she was and still is a very special lady, and she was very blessed to have such a wonderful husband and family. We haven’t seen either of you in many years but I still remember those cookies! God’s blessings on you and the whole family. You are in our prayers.
you are such a cute lady and a best friend a girl could ask for.. thanks for being my mom and i am glad i picked you… enjoy your pink toes….
Our prayers are with you and ask God for divine guidance and healing at this time.
Love, Greg and Molly
Diane was such a wonderful friend and example to me. In spite of her physical difficulties, she was always upbeat and happy. She loves her family unconditionally and lived to make them happy and comfortable. What a great lady for us all to emulate!
