  • Dear Jenne’s et al,

We were saddened by Anita’s passing, but it sounded like she was ready to let go. Anita was an amazing example of strength and devotion to family. We always equated the Jenne’s to the enviable Cleaver family!!! We go back a long way…..the history and friendships we’ve shared are precious. Some of the best memories and some great stories.

Mike and I won’t be able to make your mom’s funeral, Matt is graduating on Saturday and we promised to be there for him as none of the other Thornton’s are able.

We have you all in our prayers. Since we won’t be able to put our arms around you in your grief, we’re counting on you to help each other. That’s what families are for!!!

Love and peace, Monica & Mike

  • Thank you Grandma for the many years of memories. I will never forget the love and care you showed me for so many years, our holiday fun, and our lunches at the mall. But your gift of sharing the Lord Jesus with me was the greatest of all. Rest with Him now Grandma and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Always in His love – Gina

  • My fondest memory of Anita is of spending time with her at the cabin at Ocean Shores. I loved going treasure hunting with her – and it was even more fun to watch her after we returned from an outing. She would admire and lovingly handle her small “treasures.” I always enjoyed spending family time at Thanksgiving with her at the ocean and recording our memories in the cabin’s journal.

  • I have thought about you, Mom,every day since you have been gone. Everything reminds me of you. The trees, the sky, the birds, and especially my garden because you helped me work in my yard so much over the years and advised me on what to plant and how to take care of things. I will miss you, my best friend, terribly but you will always be close to my heart. Til we meet again.

    Love, Lila

  • Dear Gina, Lorita, Sully and the Bayless Family-

We were all very sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandma Mother. I personally was only around Grandma Jenne maybe a hand full of times, but I definitely picked up on what an important part of your family that she was. I realize that she has lived a long, fulfilling life, but I also realize that the loss of any loved one, that has been around you for your entire life, and has had a major impact on who you are, is always a huge loss! I just want you all to know that we are praying for you as you go through this hard time! We had planned to attend Grandma Jenne’s Funeral, but unfortunately we have a previous engagement that we had already commited to. Again, you will all be in our thoughts and prayers in our absence.

Love, Jill, Mike, Brooke, Charlie, Chloe, Brittany, Blake and Breanna
