Dear Mike,Carol, and Kim, I will always have fond memories of Michael. During the five years I was his counselor and companion at the MDA Camp, we got to know and understand one another very well. I kept an indepth journal of each of those camps and have numerous pictures, from which I will have longstanding memories. Although we are saddened by his departure, we should be happy knowing that he really is in a better place now. May God Bless him and welcome him with open arms, and may God Bless and comfort Mike’s family at this time. May their grief be brief, and the celebration of Michael’s life be long and wonderful. I would also like to give special thanks to Nikki. I talked to Michael alot and know how much you meant to him. Thank you for remaining his friend and for making him feel so special.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful guy. I always loved seeing Mike at MDA Camp, Fill-The-Boot, and of course, the Telethon. He always had a smile for you. Mike was one of the driving forces behind what I did as a Producer. His example of strength and endurance inspired us all to do the best job we could. I wish I could have done more. I will miss him and my family will keep his family in our prayers.
Love,

I have so many great memories of Michael while working with him, that it would be hard to begin to list them. I did learn alot from him during the time we shared. We joked and laughed and teased eachother often. He was a special guy,and I was blessed just being able to know him.
Mike, Carol & Kim,
Though I did not really know Michael, I know that he was a very special person and recieved the best care and more love than can be imagined from all of you. How greatly your lives will change without him. Find strength in knowing he is at peace and adding a bit of sunshine to heaven. My best wishes to your family for a healthy New Year, filled with wonderful memories of Michael and the happiness he would want for you.

we were so sorry to hear about Micheal, but we do know now that he is in a better place & not suffering any more. Out thoughts & prayes are with your family.
I remember Michael coming over to our house to play video games with Allan and sometimes to eat with us. I remember his quick wit and sense of humor. I remember his kindness and compassion for others. Once, I asked him if he could do any thing in the world, what would it be. Michael paused a moment then replied,” I’d like a job where I could help others, maybe even save lives.” That reply told me a great deal about this wonderful young man.He will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I never had the pleasure of meeting your son, but I know he was a very special person because his parents are very special people.
God bless you folks.
When I first met Mike about 2 1/2 years ago, I was so amazed by how full of life he was. Although he was in a wheelchair, he was fun-loving and sweet.
I am going to miss him a greast deal, and I know I will see him once again.
Mike, Carol and Kim,
I have fond memories of my times together with Michael from elementary school through high school. He taught me lots about life and I thank him for that. I laugh at his impatience with me as he tried to educate me about different makes and models of cars. They all looked the same to me! I feel so fortunate to have known Michael for so many years. He was a kind and considerate young man. I will always treasure his friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Michael will be missed by all. He had more courage and stamina than most men.
Altough I only saw Michael at Telethon and a few other events, talking with him was a joy. When looking at life he saw a challenge to overcome not something he couldn’t acomplish. He made a lasting impression on me. I have thought of him often and will continue to keep him and your family in my prayers.
Mike,
You and your family are in our hearts and our prayers.
Jeanie
