Rose, Joe, and Mike,
Hi, It’s Doug Coates. I would like to attend Jerry’s funeral but I’m going to be out of town. I’m very sorry to hear of your loss. Jerry was always very tolerant and patient of my our hanging around the house eating, drinking, your families food mostly at lunch time, while attending Chief Jo Jr. High. I remember, we used to sneek the Bronco out at night and drive it around town before we had our licenses. Then after Mike got his license Jerry would let us use the Bronco. He taught me about being firm and permissive, tolerant and responsible to family and friends. He was a nice man I will miss him. Your home was always a very safe and comfortable place for us kids to hand out. Thank you for that time in my life.
Love, Doug Coates
Jerry Dunn family,
I was sorry to hear about Jerry. He was a fine lad and he will be missed by his many friends.
I enjoyed working with Jerry while I was at Battelle. He and Ray King did a fine job in keeping the Materials Department facilities operational. Few people appreciated the effort more than I did as the regulations were becoming more challenging every year. Jerry did his best to keep on top of the issues.
Rose, I was so sorry to read about Jerry’s passing. I just lost my father a few weeks ago so I know the loss that you are feeling. Without my faith in God I never would have gotten through it all. Bless you and your family.
My dear Rose and boys:
I was so shocked to hear of Jerry’s death. I know how close you all were as a family and I know how he will be missed – by all of you and by all of those to whom he was always so kind.
Our deepest sympathy to you all.
My deepest smypathy for a brother Wolfhound.
Korea-1952-1953
Jerry was one of the good guys. He was one that makes work a little more interesting and easier. I missed his grin at work but occasionally ran into around town and we enjoyed a beer together. I will miss him.

We are so glad that we had the priviledge of knowing Jerry. He was a great friend and one of our favorite people. We had many good times together and are glad that we could share them with him at their recent 50th anniversary. Our hearts go out to Rose, Joe, Mike and all his family as we know he will be greatly missed by them as well as his many friends. Our love and sympathy, Buddy & Johnnie Berst
Our thoughts are with you and yours at this time.
Sweet Rose,
I can truly empathize with you today. Jerry was a neat guy — honest, hard-working, and lots of fun. And, oh my, how he loved his Rose.

Rose and family – you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will remember Jerry as a warm and caring man who enjoyed the good times as we all did when our families were together. My sincere sympathy, Cherryl Jones Newell
We had some great times together in the past, especially on the golf course. Our prayers are with you.
Rose and Maynard:
It’s very strange that I was just thinking about Meno and was reading the Tri-City Herald and read that Jerry passed away. I know it’s been a very long time, however, I just wanted to convey to you both my condolences on the loss of Jerry. I remember playing with Mike and Joe and Gail and Eddie as children, with very fond memories.
Lovings regards,
Susie
P.S. Maynard, if you are coming down to California any time soon, would love to hear from you. I believe our email address shows up in this message.
