Amy and Laurie– You don’t know me. I am an attorney in Pasco who did some work for your dad–trying to help him keep his driver’s license–several years ago. He spoke of you two very fondly when I would meet w/ him at his apartment. I am a Catholic in Pasco and I had a lot of respect for your dad, who was doing his best to cope with his terrible disease with dignity and grace. He loaned me a paperback book–DAILY LIFE IN THE TIME OF JESUS– which I still have if you’d like it back. I saw David’s obituary and I will be unable to attend the service tomorrow, but I wanted you to know that your dad was a very good person who did his best under VERY trying circumstnaces. I will be praying for him and you and may his soul rest in peace. Sincerely, Tom Roach
Dear Amy and family,
I read of your Dad’s passing in the paper and wanted to express my sympathy. I am sure he is in a better place and at peace. I was happy to read that you and Joost have a daughter and that you now live in Tacoma. Your Mom must be thrilled. I am sure your Dad was very proud of you. Watching you care for him all these years, I was proud of you.
Sincerely,
Gail Hynes

Amy, I want to give you a hug and reiterate what a wonderful thing you did in haking the celebration of your dad’s Pops’s new life a beautiful transition–especially the eulogy you gave.
I also want to thank again the people here in Washington who have been such a terrific support team for David over the past 15 years, including Alan Rither, Jim Zimmersheid, Jerry LeBrecque, Jerry and Marge Yesberger, Mark and Nancy McAllister, Sister Robert Joseph, and Monica Duncan the latter two from St. Joseph’s in Kennewick. And also the wonderful people at Canyon Lakes R & R such as Regina and Sandy and Katie and many others who cared so beautifully for David for years.
Sincerely, Kathy Prezbindowski

We are glad that David is finally at peace. Our prayers have been with you for many years. Love, M & A
Just wanted to reiterate my message to all of you that I am thinking of you. Glad that David is at peace at last. Until I saw his picture I hadn’t realized how handsome he was. I am sure he contributed greatly to the brains, good looks, and values of his daughters. I will be doing several acts of kindness in this coming week, specifically with your request in mind. Love to Kathy, Amy, Laurie, and family.
Dear Amy, Laurie and Kathy,
Just wanted to tell you how touching the service was for David. It helped me to understand him more after hearing about his earlier years. It was wonderful hearing both of you talk, Amy and Kathy.
I’ll be forever grateful for the patience David had in helping me with physics when I was in high school. That was not an easy task but he was always willing to help me.
Love you,
Nancy
